C.C. Lockwood's photographs have been published in numerous magazines, among them National Geographic and American Photographer, many books, including seven by Lockwood; advertisements; and more. Lockwood received the Sierra Club's Ansel Adams Award for conservation photography in 1978. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, he was raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and has been a Louisiana resident until present.
