Starks Historical Society was founded in 1993 for the Starks community in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Members of the Starks Historical Society contributed much of the material of Pioneers of the Past, such family stories submitted by members, collections of past newspaper articles, genealogical information and photos that have been gathered by members through the years.
