Bobby Aguillard was raised in South Louisiana. When he is not writing he can be found enjoying the unique Cajun culture of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. His first book was Pinky’s Adventures: A Southwest Louisiana Story. His passion is to keep young readers informed about the importance of conserving our wetlands, bayous, and rivers. He loves being a tourist in his home state, and throughout the entire Gulf Coast.
About the Illustrator
Camille Vizena is a graphic designer, illustrator, and printmaker based in Southwest Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Printmaking from McNeese State University in 2020.
