What follows is a leisurely photographic journey spanning 10 decades, from the twilight of the 19th century - before Lake Charles High was even Lake Charles High - through the 1980s. Many of the photos are being published for the first time, shared by alumni. Others are from the priceless Lake Charles High School Collection at McNeese State University Archives. Still more are from the familiar favorites as the Wildcat Newspaper, football programs, clippings, and advertisements from the Lake Charles American Press and the old Southwest Citizen.
