Holy Trinity in Sulphur is celebrating its 50th year. Our celebration is not only because we have existed for that many years, but because during the time we have grown from a struggling mission to an important presence in the community and in the diocese. In our church family, we can recognize children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of our 41 charter members.
Dr. Virginia Oliver and her husband, March, have been members of the Holy Trinity since 1957. While their five children grew up, the church was, and continues to be, an important part of their lives.
Virginia taught English at McNeese for eighteen years.
