This story begins with Michel Boudreaux who was born in LaRachelle, France. He arrived in Acadie (now Nova Scotia, Canada) in 1642. He married Michelle Aucoin. They had eleven children all born at Port Royal, Acadia, along with the next two generations of the Boudreaux all being born in Acadia. After that time we have the expellation of the Cajuns from Canada. Some came to Louisiana, other were sent to the New England states and still others were sent back to France. This is where we have the grandson of Michel, Joesph, born in Servan, France. He married Isabelle Trahan in France but they moved to St. Martinville, LA and some of his grandchildren ended up in Cameron Parish. Michel Boudreaux was Lieutenant General at Port Royal, Acadie and also a Judge
