Wife of Ronnie J. Cormier, Mother of Phylicia Nicole Cormier. Ancestor of Marie Olivier Sylvestre, and Roch Manitouabanouk Sylvestre, the Noel, Semien, Gaubert/Gobert, Micmac and Attakapas Opelousas Paririe Tribe of Louisiana. Amy was born on August 1, 1970 in a small hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana to Nolan and Theresa Semien Gobert. She grew up in a small community called Lebeau, Louisiana with a very small population of people, mostly family, and moved to Elton, Louisiana when she was seven years old. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoys dancing, basket weaving, and photography. Married to Ronnie Cormier, with one daughter Phylicia Cormier.
