The first information that I have found on the Arabie’s is that of Josef Antonio Araby. A native of Mallorco. The son of Antonio Araby and Cathalina Prados. He married Rita Henriette Perez, a native of Tennerife. The daughter of Miguel Perez and Maria Antonia Garcia. They married on the 19th day of January 1784 in the Ascension Church in Donaldsonville, LA. Located on the corner of the Mississippi River and the Bayou Lafourche. I am still trying to find out how they came and when they came to America.
