What started as a collection of dog stories and writings about random events that have passed through my life, somehow turned into a book. I find that I tend to write in low points and high points in my life. The calm, in between points, are where my creativity seems to sleep. The stories in this book took the better part of twenty years to write, although, the actual events have happened over an entire lifetime.

My life a hundred years ago would have been so different from today. Would I have been a different person or just the same person in a different time? One thing I know for sure; I would have been a dog lover whenever I might have lived. If you have a love for dogs, you will probably find yourself in some of my stories. If you have a love for dogs, you may feel some of the emotions that I felt as I told stories that had endings that I didn’t want to tell.

If you find a tear in your eye as you read my stories, or laughter at some points along the way, then maybe I have done my job. Writing the stories had the same effect on me.
