Gondra The Driftwood Dragon
Gondra, a tenacious, and rather nosy Driftwood Dragon becomes environmentally aware, as she embarks on a journey over land and sea, meeting a cast of fantastical creatures along the way. She learns about the uniqueness and beauty of Louisiana, and what the "human people" can do to help. She ends up at Holly Beach, in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, where she meets a saucy dragonfly who helps her fulfill the promise she made to a sea turtle she befriended while drifting along the Gulf of Mexico.
Lisa Reeds has been writing poetry and creating art since childhood. Her love of wildlife, the beach, and the outdoors, combined with her artistic drive, has culminated in the creation of repurposed art and fantastical driftwood creatures that reflect the spirit of Louisiana's wildlife.
Lisa holds a B.S. in Aquatic Science, and M.S. in Environmental Science from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. She resides in Carlyss, Louisiana with her husband, and several canine companions.
