Mama Judice is a Texan now, but boudin is pure Louisiana.
Cajun Cooking with Maw Maw Judice
If all the boudin Lariza Judice has ever made was brought together and piled in one place, thousands of Cajuns would think they'd died and gone to heaven. Now, she has piled all her family recipes in this treasure that will keep her legacy going for years!
Like most Cajun women, Judice learned to make boudin from her mother while she was growing up near Lafayette, Louisiana. Her boudin has traveled all over the world. Judice moved to Port Author, Texas, as a newlywed with her husband Albin, opening a grocery store that offered catering, and did they ever! Mama Judice made her famous boudin, it was a fan favorite.
